So much has happened!
Oh my goodness I can't believe my last entry was in May, how sad am I? well, I most probably won't be able to remember little detail that has happened since then so, I will just settle with what's most important! I will vow to post weekly! I know that I won't have time to post everyday but, i will post more than every two months! Well, much of my time has been trying to get in touch with schools, get my transcripts together and apply to different schools. I began with four schools that I was to apply to but felt a stupor of thought with the other two so was able to narrow it down. I narrowed it down to two schools and did that i needed to to be able to get in one or the other. Things are quite competitive in the medical field, so many tests and things have to be taken now to prove one deemed worthy to enter a specific field! Anyhow, the testing was over, then it was the waiting period.......long story short, something told me to go and check the mail oneday after i came from the salon. I remember going through the mail and at the very bottom recognizing this paper........i looked closely and saw that I had been selected to begin the nursing program August 2009! I was so estatic I was crying! I totally didn't expect that, was actually on the verge of packing my bags and moving to Utah....the Lord has a different plan and well, continues to unveil that plan day by day. Anyhow, my brother found out this week that he too will be beginning his desired program this fall as well, he was accepted into business school! Life is grand, full of so many surprises and turns. We struggle but are blessed even along that path. More updates to come!

Well, I need to add baby Sam's 1st birthday as well! I am so terrible at this whole blogging thing! If my life depended on blogging well, I guess I might as well say goodbye to my life! Baby Sam is now 1 yrs old yay! I tell you, kids grow so fast. Tia will be 3 yrs old next month so....she's really excited about that! Their parents can't believe how fast their babies are growing and we can't either! We enjoy everyday with these little angels. I can't wait to be a mom myself in the due time of the Lord!
I totally think I am missing some blogs! I need to throw in Time Out For Women that happened in January! It was a neat experience. It was my first year ever attending and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was only able to attend the Friday session but it was quite uplifting. My mom, Toya, and Diane attended the Saturday session in my stead as I had clinicals...lame! They said that the Saturday session was very spiritual and uplifting. I think of these "Time Out For Women" sessions as our little women retreats! I love it though because it is good to be spiritually uplifted with those who are striving for the same goals in life! Well, here are some pictures from that eventful night!
It has been soooooo long! I need to do better with keeping up with my blog. I guess sometimes the demands of life tugs you a certain way and you tend to forget to balance out the various tasks and duties that you have to do! Well, I guess lots of things have been heavily weighed on my mind since my last blog! I have been indecisive as to where I need to go to finish my schooling. Utah has seemed to be my common interest but, finances always turn a sour face! I know that I will come to know where I need to be and what needs to be done! This week (Friday) I have a meeting regarding one prospective nursing school so we will see how that goes! April marked two yrs for me having entered the Provo MTC, thus all the elders that I came on the mission with came home! I can't believe that a whole two yrs have come and gone! Time certainly does fly and to me almost has no meaning! I'm just grateful for the experiences that I had while on my mission. I will have been home six months to date come next week....my I don't know what to say about the time. Anyhow, other than that life is moving at a moderate pace and I am getting things in order. Haven't found 'love' yet...whatever that may mean! haha I am sure that a special someone will come soon.

My 24th birthday!
My cousin and I went to Bush Gardens and had so much fun. we got banged up a bit by some of the rides and left the theme park at the end of the day with a massive headache! All in all it was a fun filled day. We later teamed up with a couple of family memebers for dinner at Red Lobster so that was a great treat. Birthdays are so fun, I can only imagine what my 25th will be like! Happy Birthday to me!

powerful day at church
Today is Sunday and was such a lovely sabbath. The spirit was present in abundance and I could not contain myself so of course I cried! I'm just so grateful to be apart of this gospel, it has richly and abundantly blessed my life. There is no other place I'd rather be. I'm just grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ who it is through Him all things all possible. I have lots of projects and expectations ahead of me so, it's time to get busy.

frustrated!
I'm trying to figure out how i can upload my playlist and well, it won't let me! How can I get it to accept my playlist!?
life after the mission
First off I must excuse myself for what soon will turn out to be horrible post mission grammatical errors! I can't write or speak English correctly anymore and am quite ashamed of it! Well, today is February 20th so I have been home for about 3/1/2 months now. The mission was awesome, it went by really really fast but I enjoyed it. I had several challenges on the mission but hey, that is how we grow as we are stretched by various experiences. I had surgery on my mission my last six months. I think that was actually my first time in my life being actually depressed! I had surgery in July and was not able to fully work until the beginning of September! I learned alot through that time and well, was actually prepared spiritually for that experience. (ask me why someday and I'll tell you!)
So the now, my focus in college has been nursing so, I am getting back into school and all and well, we'll see what happens! I have been enjoying the time with my family, reaquainting myself with them and such. Since being home I have been doing a CNA certification class to keep me busy until getting into nursing school. I need to make some moola! Shortly after arriving home I was called to serve on the YSA committee and well, Sunday was called to serve in the Relief Society Presidency...shhhhh don't say anything cause I haven't been sustained yet! Life is great, I'm happy, healthy, and living things day by day. I haven't seen anyone that I'm interested in dating yet, haha but, hopefully someone will come around soon! What a joyous day it will be! Well, that's all for now, tune into next week on the scoop of my 24th birthday!
